Our history
St kizito SS Bugolobi was founded by the comboni fathers of our lady of Africa catholic parish-Mbuya. The school started in 1997 with 14 students and by the end of the year, total enrolment was at 40. The student population has risen over the years to the current 2100.
The school started as a mixed day school targeting the majority poor children in the surrounding who had minimal chances ofaccessing quality secondary education elsewhere. It remained a day school till 2004, when the board of governors then, agreed to establish a boarding section with intention of helping the school acquire financial self-sustainance.
Since then, the highest percentage of candidates scoring 1st grades at UCE was registered in 2023. While under
UACE the year with the highest percentage of students with 3 principle passes was 2020 with 110 students.
